Hi,

1. I am using Trial version of power automate and want to share Desktop Flows with other members in organization. But share option missing but as per documentation it should be there. Do I need to purchase license for sharing flows?

2. If I share my Desktop flows with other user. Does user will be able to execute the script on other machine by opening the flow in edit mode based on shared permission provided.

Kindly provide input for above queries.

    Hi GirishKardam,

    I got the same issue. As the new article posted on December 9, 2020. This feature is not globally available so we have to wait for now.

    And to answer your question 2, you can read about it in the article below:

    Role-based sharing of desktop flows increases the velocity and reach of RPA, helping to drive adoption of the technology across the organization. By providing the ability to share desktop flows directly, companies can enable the co-development of critical automation scripts by having the ownership shared across multiple users. Users can then embed these desktop flows in specific end-to-end processes they are automating.

    Additionally, users can control who can run and/or edit and share a desktop flow, enabling your front-line workers to either use the flow or help to contribute to the creation or optimization of a flow, as well as invite others to co-own the flow.

    Thanks and hope it can help you.

    @miketran13

    Thanks for the reply above! It helped me.

    I tried sharing and it works now. You can share to others if you are a developer releasing a solution or you can share temporarily, have the user save as for the PAD flow to save it as their own, then remove share to the user.
