Microsoft has announced the retirement of SharePoint 2010 workflows. Now SharePoint Online has multiple SharePoint Built in workflows in 2010 and 2013.Check out below article.

SharePoint 2010 workflow

Starting August 1st, 2020, SharePoint 2010 workflows will be turned off for any newly created tenants.

Starting November 1st 2020, SharePoint 2010 workflow services will be removed from existing tenants so that no new or existing 2010 workflows will run.

The following built-in workflows will be impacted:

â—¾ Approvals: This workflow routes a document or an item to a group of people for approval.

â—¾ Collect Feedback: This workflow routes a document or an item to a group of people for feedback. Reviewers can provide feedback, which is then compiled and sent to the person who initiated the workflow.

â—¾ Collect Signatures: This workflow routes a Microsoft Office document to a group of people to collect their digital signatures.

â—¾ Classic pages publishing Approval: This workflow is like the Approval workflow in that it automates the routing of draft pages to subject matter experts and stakeholders for review and approval.

â—¾ Three-state: This workflow can be used to manage business processes that require organizations to track a high volume of issues or items, such as customer support issues, sales leads, or project tasks.

I have few questions based on this announcement for Built in SharePoint Workflows.

1. What is the solution to maintain this same workflow functionality in sharepoint online?
2. Is there any provision in sharepoint online already to cover up this workflows?
3. Do we need to migrate all this workflows in Power Automate?
4. Is there any ready made template available to migrate all this workflows?
5. SharePoint Built in workflows are attached with List , Content Type also the type is Reusable? How can we create or migrate them in Power Automate?

@lipi : For this scenario, I recommend to lodge a support case with Microsoft.

It should be routed to the SharePoint and not Power Automate team - however, the PAuto team should be able to chip in with some info on this.

    Thanks!

@edguerre  I have already done that before posting it here. But the thing is like they also don't have the answers clearly. I have also created the support case with Power Automate team and they have suggested to post it in this community.

SharePoint support person told me that still they are working for reusable functionality with Power Automate so it is not possible to implement reusable features with PA., PA support person have told me that workflow attached with Content Type is  not possible with PA.

So it is like I guess in Power Automate I need to create the same flow multiple times attached with different lists and libraries for sharepoint.
