Desktop Flow initialization failed

Hello, community!

I've created a desktop flow that includes a Custom form. When we submit the form, it creates an item and attaches it to a SharePoint list. Once the data is added to the SharePoint list, I intend to send an email to the dealer.

However, I encountered an error when adding the email action 'Send an email (v2)' in the desktop flow. The error message states: "An error occurred while running the flow. Restart the flow designer and try again." Subsequently, when I close the flow and attempt to edit it, I receive the following error: "Flow initialization failed. Please ensure there is an active internet connection and contact your administrator."

Interestingly, I created a new flow and successfully added actions up to the point of attaching a file. However, when I added the email action, I encountered the same set of errors.

    Hi @Sonu123

As @Agnius  said, have you checked connection references and see if connections are set up proeprly ?

    Re: Desktop Flow initialization failed

    Hello Nived_Nambiar,

Regarding the internet connection, it is functioning correctly as I am able to use SharePoint actions without any issues. However, when I attempt to add the "Send an email (v2)" action, that's when the error occurs.

    Any suggestion?
    thanks

    Re: Desktop Flow initialization failed

If there were problems with the internet connection, the entire flow would not work, regardless of the actions used.

Do you have a proper connection reference in place for the Office 365 Outlook connector?

Are you able to use any of the other actions in the Office 365 Outlook group?

Can you check with your system administrator on whether or not you have some firewall or other software blocking specific connections/ports in your network?

Are you using the latest version of PAD?

If none of the questions above lead to any substantial findings, I would suggest reporting this as a bug to MS support.
