Hi, I have built 2 new PowerApps for my organisation and each have 5 flows. Now that the apps are in full use, I am really seeing the reason why I should have set the flows up in a service account as ALL emails relating to app notifications are coming from me and staff are likely to not see my emails when I send out communications for other work purposes.
I already have a service account setup with full access to all of the SharePoint List data sources and as an owner in the PowerApps. (I just got carried away with app creation that I didn't switch accounts to make the flows - regrettably).
I am wondering how easy it would be to copy my existing flows to the service account "my flows" area? And if I am likely to run into any issues?
I know I can do a "share with" to the service account, login as them, copy the flows to make them created by the service account, and delete the originals, but I am approaching with haste by asking on here first in case this is not a good approach.
Thanks for your help,
Rachel
@ScottShearer A followup question on the similar topic. Your solution worked to change the owner account of the flow. I was wondering how to replicate a flow across my different projects. I have a complex flow that works on a sharepoint list and Library and updates content based on data received from a Form. I am planning to deploy the business process to several projects so the pattern of the flow remains the same however I will only need to change the Source URL for the Sharepoint List and Library and Form to the respective project. I have 20 different projects that is expected to use these different flows.
Your best option is probably to export or "Send a copy" of the Flows to the service account. Then logon to M365 as the service account and import the Flows. The Service account will be prompted to supply credentials for the connections upon import. Then, add co-owners. Be sure to turn off the existing Flows.
