Having Trouble with Datepicker

I have a date picker on a form (DataCardValue2). It displays today's date by default (1/10/2022). When I try to display the Year in a label (Year(DataCardValue2.SelectedDate) it returns 1900. I've done this before without error. What am I doing wrong?

    I also have noticed that the date picker doesn't always change the year when selecting dates.

    I replaced the form datepicker with another datepicker and it worked. That was really weird.
