Flows in "Delay Until" Limit?

Hi,

I have flow which can send up to 500 emails the next day at a given time for each email, I have a "Delay Until" as part of the flow and I'm wondering is there a limit on how many flows can be sitting in that state?

Hey Mate,

I am bit confused with your question, but you can find the limits here - For most standard flows, the maximum duration a single flow can stay active is 30 days. After this, the flow will automatically terminate, see below:

From What I understand “Delay Until” is used to scheduled recurrence trigger to manage periodic actions ,in your case? I would suggest you can set "Concurrency Control" if you have an "Apply to each" loop.

The flow triggers on a "When New Item is created" in SharePoint, there could be 500 new items added which run trigger the flow which would then mean they would all be sitting in a Delay Until status until the following day, it doesn't run on a loop so to speak, does that make sense?

Hey Mate,

I would suggest you use a recurrence trigger and then "Get items" and then add a filter that get items created in the past 24 hours. Will this work for you?

Compose - addHours(utcNow(), -24)

Filter Query - Created ge 'Compose'

Hey Mate, Do you see any errors in Running?

My idea was to trigger a single flow and then iterate through the items. This approach should help reduce the number of flow runs, improving efficiency and overall performance.
