MS Flow and SharePoint list

Hi,

I'm just starting to work with MS Flow and running into issues.
I want the worflow to run when a list item was modified (and perhaps another tigger) and change the item's Status field.
1.  I choose "When an exisitng item is modified: Work flow and it seems to run only on the first item.

      it also runs auomitcally every few minutes. Adding 'Get Item" action did help and it only runs on the first item in the list.
2. I created "For selected item" work flow and its not even starting.
    Why is this so difficult in comparison to Designer Workflows?

This is what I'm trying to do

    @AlbertoSP:

    A for a selected item Flow must be started by:

    1. Selecting an item in the list
    2. Selecting the workflow from the Flow drop-down
    3. Clicking on Run Flow

    Are you following these steps to start the Flow?

    Also, please remember that you'll want to add the SharePoint list as a Run-Only user if you want your users to be able to execute the Flow.

    When you say that the Flow that you have created with a "When an existing Item is Modified" trigger and it runs only on the first item, what do you mean?  The Flow should run on any item (and only that item) when it is created or changed.  Can you please explain a little bit more about the behavior that you are experiencing?

    Hi Scott,
    The idea was to have the Flow start automtically. Instaed I'm using the (When an Item is Created or Modified) workflow. That seems to work now.
    If I'm to the have many users in my organization, do I have to give them or the flow any special access?
    Also, with SP designer workdlow, I used to see a colum with the WF status and the the the success/failure of teh flow on each item in the list. Is this still possible with flow?

    @AlbertoSP:

    The only time you need to do anything to allow your SharePoint Flows to run for your users is when you are using a For  Selected Item trigger as I explained above.

    Unfortunately, there is no equivilent in Flow to the Workflow Status column in for Designer workflows.

    Finally, please remember that it may take a number of minutes for your Flows to start running - the amount of time depends on your license.   So, if you are using a "When a new item is created or changed" trigger, give it a few minutes to start running.

    If this addresses your issue, pelase mark your post as Solved.

    Scott
