I need help to fix my power apps issue, details as follows:-
In my power apps form, the requirements of the 'Focal name' field (a person name) are:
1. Based on the 'system name' (this field is also vlookup from SP List ABC) selected by user, the 'Focal name' field will lookup the corresponding system's focal name from the SP List ABC.
2. In some instance, there is no predefined focal name for a particular system in the SP List ABC, in this case, the 'Focal name' field lookup result will show blank. User has to manually input a person name in the 'Focal name' field.
3. In some other instance, user may need to change the pre-defined system focal name which is auto-lookup from the SP List ABC. In this case, user will delete the name and manually input another person name in the 'Focal name' field.
How i set up in the 'Focal name' field:-
Issue encountered:
~ If user manually change the 'Focal name' field (Mr X), the next time when the user open up the form to update 'Request Status' field, the 'Focal name' field will not capture the name (Mr X) manually input by user, it will show the lookup focal name from SP List ABC (Mr W).
Anyone can advise what goes wrong with the 'Focal name' field setting in power apps? Thank you very much in advance! 🙂
