For some reason the Address Input control search results isn't showing the Suburb (Municipality) ?

Data source is "Default"

This issue has only arisen today and was working fine yesterday 🤔

Any ideas?

Hi @Maid, Yes it looks like the team have resolved the issue overnight.

We'll need to keep monitoring just in case the issue reappears!

Hi Karl, our users have reported the same problem.  Our first record affected was on 9th Oct 2024.  This has been sparatic (some work, some dont - no reason why some do or dont).
But, as of this morning, I have been testing alternate ways, & found that the problem is now RESOLVED.  Suburb (Municipality) has now reappeared so it looks like the team supporting this have either spotted the issue (or they saw this post ;)
Here is the screenshot for 100 Queen St showing the suburbs:

So I'm not making any changes to the Address Input control just yet, but will continue to monitor. Check yours & let me know if your issue has resolved too.

I understand the Address Input control & Map control in Power Apps uses Azure Maps as the service so I do expect this to continue - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/blog/power-apps/announcing-the-general-availability-of-geospatial-features-in-power-apps/)

We also use: BingMaps.GetRouteV3() to calculate & display routes.  Note: BingMaps is being deprecated (https://www.bingmapsportal.com/Announcement) so I am making plans to move over to Azure Maps for this function of our apps.

Sounds like the control is not a lot of use in Oz presently  . . .

    Microsoft have acknowledged the issue

I've tested and confirmed that the issue is reproducible on my end as well. After consulting with our senior team members, we've concluded that it's best to reach out to the Bing team for support. The Address Input in Power Apps uses the Bing Connector, which retrieves data from Bing's Data Source. Since Bing Maps doesn't display the municipality, it's expected that Power Apps won't show it either.

I'm sorry that we can't do much to help in this case as it's beyond our scope. Please contact the Bing Team for further assistance. Hopefully, they can resolve this issue soon.

and it seems the issue originates from Microsoft Bing which provides the data. Australian addresses no longer show the Municipality

I am getting the same on all addresses including my home address (the Locality - Brisbane as below simply does not search) - I suspect Oz has not been well catered for presently in this new control. Also I assume you realise that this is a Premium connector and all users will need a Premium Per User/App licence when MS get it working properly for us (I am also a Qlander).

    Hi WarrenBelz,

It's an "Address input" control, not a Combo Box.

Here's the code for the control.....

    - AddressInput1:
        Control: AddressInput
        Properties:
          OnAddressSelect: =
          CountrySet: ="AU"
          HintText: ="Site address"
          Language: ='AddressInput.Language'.'en-AU'
          Latitude: =-27.4290094
          Longitude: =153.1367378
          Radius: ="100000000"
          SearchWithinRadius: =true
          BorderColor: =RGBA(0, 94, 146, 1)
          BorderThickness: =1
          FontSize: =14
          Height: =39
          Width: =500
          X: =36
          Y: =699

What is the Items and DisplayFields of the Combo Box ? Also what do your data fields look like - do you have separate fields for Street, Locality and Suburb ?
