I did not know if this is a power automate question or a power a SharePoint question, let me know if I am in the wrong place.
I am trying to create a community board when people can add instructions to different problems they have figured out. The new item needs to go thru a approval process before it can be posted / Visible on the SharePoint list. I believe I have created the flow to accomplish that. My issue is that the item is created in the list before it is sent to the flow. Is there a way to prevent this?
The issue is that items are being added to the SharePoint list before they are approved. This can happen if you're triggering your flow on the creation of the list item itself. However, there isn't a native way to "prevent" an item from being created in SharePoint because the list item is needed to trigger the flow. Possibly you are looking at two lists here. One that captures the initial request and one where the item gets copied after approval.
