Hi,

My automate flow is always taking the path of not approved, It sends an automatic message that the request was not approved before even sending the email for approval.

I'm sending photos of my flow:

You can see here that it takes the path of not approved even before getting the response:

Thanks for all the help you can give me.

Best regards.

In your condition, you should be reference the Outcome from Dynamic Properties and not the Response.

The reason it continues through to the condition even when your Approval failed is that you have configured the "run after" settings on the condition to do so.

Why did your Approval generate an error?  Can you post a screen shot of the error?

I've never seen Outcome not be available in Dynamic properties for this type of Approval action.  Try entering Outcome in the Dynamic Properties search box.

    You have two issues.

    1) You are using an old form of the approval action.  Probably becuse you started with an outdated template instead of from scratch.  You should remove that and add the current Start and Wait for an Approval.  Then you will see Outcome.

    2) But the reason why the approval is failing and always defaulting to rejected is because you included a custom email as an approver.  Approvers need to be internal organizational accounts.  You can't send an approval request to an external user or a non-Organizational email mailbox.  That's why that action is failing as soon as the approval is sent.

Scott and Pstork, thanks a lot for your help!!!!. I think I was using an outdated template. I began a new one from cero and it worked.
