Canvas App - Dropdown won't search on DataCard linked to SharePoint List person and groups column

I've a dropdown linked to a Person and Groups column on a SharePoint List.

 

Normally it will search the users available to it. This works on the dev system.

 

However in live this does not work despite the app being the same.

 

Does anyone know what might be wrong?

    Can you please share snapshot of the error message that you are getting.

    Try removing and adding the datacard again in your form control.

    @NandiniBhagya20  there is no error. It is simply not behaving as it is on Dev

     

    I'm not in a position to add and re-add as this is a live system and the business process for moving between Dev and Live is not simple.
