Adding to a share point list from another to add on to total...

I have a metrics ( Daily ) share point list  for my team that calculates amount of lines received in daily. I am using a quick chart from a share point list to display that information. I have a "monthly" one that I want the information from the first list ( Daily one ) to move to the second list ( Monthly one) and just add to it rather than add a new entry. Just add to the amount in the monthly one. Both list are identical so that I can execute a flow that moves one to the other, but not sure how to add to the second ( Monthly) list.

This doesn't sound like it will be hard to implement, but I don't believe that I thoroughly understand your requirement.  Cam you provide a little more detail as well as some screen shots of your lists?

Did you rename the Title column to Stations?

Can all items in the second list be deleted and refreshed with data from the first list?

    Hey Scott,

Yes I renamed the title column to stations in order to give the users a clear definition of what is required upon entry of the list, also the quick charts are rather limited on what they display. I think one of the requirements in the quick chart on a share point site is "title" . I wanted that quick chart to display the name the of the stations.

Yes everything on the second list can be wiped as long as the second list will reflect what the number of lines is totally. I.E if Monday 45 lines were received in at each station then when this information is transferred over to the second list it adds to what was already there ( 50 lines were currently there for each station )  It would refresh showing 95 for each station.

I believe that the Flow below will meet your needs.  The expression that I used in the Update items action can be seen in the action comments area.

    Hey Scott,

Very great flow. I am however running into an error when I run this flow. I have put the error and the flow as I have it now , with the columns and name of my list

Flow is complaining about an expression in the Get Items2 action.  I suspect that there is an issue with the OData filter.

    Can you do the following:

    • Post a screen shot of the OData filter
    • Verify that you are using the internal name of the column you mention in the first part of the filter.  Internal names can't have spaces.  To find the internal name, go to the list settings and click on the column.  The internal name will be at the end of the URL after field=
      • What is the internal name of the column
