Add personalisation o email with details from filtered excel file

Hey @abm 

Thank you for your youtube video on how to filter excel data and send an email with a summary. I have followed the whole flow as it was in the video. 

The issue am facing is i cant seem to add personalisation like hi (username from excel file). I have tried @item()?['userName']. But it doesn't seem to work

    the flow starts from getting an email from a shared mailbox with an attachment

    After the compose2 add another compose and map the username. Finally map the compose output under the email.

    I tried using this expression but it doesn't show any output.

    Hi @Anonymous 

     

    You don't need to use that as an expression. Like the email mapping you should be able to see dynamic property called name.

    Of course I did missed that step assuming you are going to add that property under the select. Glad to hear that all good.

    Please could you post a screenshot of your flow of where you added the second compose to map username?
    I'm trying to add similar for full name but it keeps adding a second apply to each when I add this to the flow.

    Hey @smee ,

    Unfortunately, I don't have access to flow anymore but I added the compose just after compose2 as per my initial flow and added name as a field in select under the map bit. Hope that helps.
