Flow only triggering in test mode

I have what seems to be a common problem without a single solution. I have a flow triggered by a Microsoft Forms form, which will only trigger when testing. The flow tester confirms the flow logic is correct, however when filling out the form, Microsoft Forms registers the form has been completed, but it does not trigger the flow actions.

This is a flow to trigger an Outlook 'Send an Email' function based on the Microsoft Forms selection. I believe I have the correct send permissions set up.

Any help would be much appreciated!

If the flow is not triggering at all are you sure you have the form ID correct for the trigger step?

Could you send a screenshot of the Flow?

    Thanks,

    Hi Dan,

Thanks for reaching out - it's a fairly lengthy flow with conditional emails based on particular values in the form. Below is some of it (hard to get it all on one screen). Basically it populates various emails with the conditional values of the form.

I'm sure the form is the correct one, and the flow test works correctly, it just doesn't trigger on its own - running a test will submit all unprocessed submissions in one go.

    Thanks,
    Phil

Instead of selecting the form can you try to enter the form id?

Choose custom value in the dropdown.

Then copy the form id by selecting everything after "FormId=" in the url of the form.

    Please give kudos.

And mark as solution if this works!

    Thanks,

    Hi Dan,

That didn't solve the issue unfortunately, but kudos given anyway for your assistance!

Perhaps there's a delay in processing or something...
