Documentation on Apply to Each

Hi

Is there any documentation on Apply to each?

I've a simple flow which gets list items from SharePoint, and I want to iterate through them and send an email. However, I can't find a valid value to put into "Select an output from previous steps" - I'd expect it to allow me to select from the previous item output, but there's no selection available.

the flow is currently:

Recurrence -> Get Items -> Apply to Each -> Send Email

Sorry if I'm missing something...

thanks

Angus

@Angusham I am having a similar issue with Apply to Each, but in my case I want to iterate through rows returned from an on premise SQL Server and create list items in SharePoint.

First of all not sure if my comment is useful for you guys, It's a long time since you posted on this thread, even longer since I decided to take a break and stop testing Microsoft Flow. Today I just read on this nice feature (and also nested conditions sounded nice) so I'm back playing with Flow.

In my case I added Recurrence trigger, then Sharepoint Get Items, then a condition (not sure if Sharepoint Get Items filters are still failing), then IF YES I added "Send approval email" action. When doing so, Microsoft Flow suggests me to insert this last action inside an "Apply to each", and when clicking "Select an output from previous steps" it shows me one option: "Outputs from Sharepoint Get Items: value".

However, I have found no way:

1.-to evaluate the result of "Send aproval email" inside the "Apply to each".

2.-to add more than one action inside am "Apply to each"

Is any of these two options supported? If so, am I missing something?

    Hi,

How can we apply nested "Apply to each" in Microsoft flow?

    Thanks,

    Aman
