so can anyone advice how we need to migrate this step? can i have the same functionality inside MS Flow? where i create a task inside a task list and wait for the response for the user/s? or MS flow works in a different way?

Thanks

Microsoft Flow does not work on Tasks. Approval Process is entirely different. It is new Approval using Dataverse as backend.   You will have to rewrite this logic using Start and Wait for approval and then you can use custom outcome.

@PrasadAthalye  Ok thanks for the info, but the Nintex Assign Task step has these additional options, such as cancellation options, Assignee options,etc.. :-

are those setting available inside the Ms Flow approvals?

    Thanks

These are 2 different solutions\products. Please do not compare them. PA is different than Nintex.

    • You do not have Flow reminders. You will have to develop another flow as a reminder flow. In SharePoint List, there exist a template if you have date column in it.

    • For Approval Types, You have following options to choose from

    • You do not have cancellation options...
    • For Sequential, you will have to design by using multiple actions one below another.
