Hello Team,

I am trying to Export as PNG format for one of my Power BI report and send email. Flow is running fine.

Export to File for Power BI Reports > Send an Email V2.

But when I am trying to open the attachment using Photos app it is saying it is not supported.

I also tried by mentioning the extension as PNG, JPG, JPEG.

PDF format is running fine.

Please assist if I am missing something.

Thank you,

Paramjit

    If this helps anybody...

I changed the file extension to .zip which gave me a compressed zip file with all sheets captures as .png files.

Unfortunately, by default, all were named the same '_.png' (I think), and the extraction process was only leaving me with one of the '_.png' files from the .zip (most likely the last one it processed was overwriting all previous ones).

I created a VBA routine to loop through each file, copy it from the .zip and rename with a counter (e.g. 1.png, 2.png, 3.png) for the number of files to be able to successfully extract these without manually copying and pasting from the zip and renaming.

For anyone who suffer the same issue, I found that this function will work perfectly if we select single pageName.

The default of this field is blank and if report has multiple pages, the image is unable to be read.

I'm facing the same issue, appears that the export function has issue.

It is unable to get the image readable.

Hi @v-qiaqi-msft , Thank you for helping .

For now , I am trying to export the Power BI data as PNG format in the email attachment.

Flow is running fine. But I am not able to open the attachment. Photos app is saying, not supported.

is it not available? But why it is showing PNG format in the Export to Power BI API.

If I am able to open the attachment successfully, then I need to add this in email body as well. (currently I am just able to add static image in email body)

    Thank you,

    Paramjit

    Hi @ParamjitSingla,

Do you want to export Power BI report as the PNG format within the Email body?

If you want to export Power BI report as PNG format and send email, I am afraid that flow does not support it currently. If you want this feature to be added, you could raise an idea here:
