Flow doesn't work if not used daily?

I have a flow that I hadn't used in 2 weeks. It's a PA flow that calls a PAD flow. The PA part worked fine. The problem seemed to be when it called the PAD flow.

This flow is attended and I was logged in and using the same machine the PAD flow was to run on. The PAD flow seemed to get stuck so I cancelled the master PA flow. I tried resubmitting the same flow and again, it seemed to get stuck.

I then canceled the PA flow. Opened the PAD flow in edit mode and exited it hoping that may "wake it up". I went back to my PA flow and resubmitted.  This time it made it farther into my PAD flow but locked up at a point where I had a display box showing with an OK button. The OK button was unclickable (grayed out).

I ended up having to open the Task Mgr and Force Quit the PAD bot which was still open to be able to clear out of the message box.

I was so frustrated I haven't tried running it again because I didn't want to have to delete/undo the tasks it completed but now I have to manually go thru and figure out was wasn't complete.

Is this a normal occurrence for a flow that is not used several times a week?

May be one of the flow executions has gone into deadlock mode. If so, you need to cancel that flow execution.

Follow the below steps to check.

Login to Power Automate, select Monitor and then select "Desktop flow runs" option.  You can see the run history of all your desktop flows.  Filter your flow and check for any errors. If any of your flows are running for a long time, cancel them and check.
