Dear App Developers,

I am having real difficulties in finding a good way to format forms in PowerApps.

I have a multipage form with about 40 fields (driven by the business process we want to digitize with this form).

Now I need to assign individual settings to every DataCard Key, StarVisible, DataCard Value etc.

So I thought, why not use a component and design it centrally. Then apply it inside the form wherever needed.

I tried both:

Designing a whole datacard, e. g. one for text input
Designing only the elements of a datacard, e. g. the DataCardKey to be used within the datacard within the form

The thing is, I can basically not add any component toi the form. It always adds itself outside the form, copy/cut and paste does not work.

So am I really left with nasty workarounds like copy / pasting the YAML code or doing it manually?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ps: I cannot write in this forum in any browser. Every two or three letters I type on my keyboard, the cursor automatically jumps to the beginning of this input field. Never happens anywhere else…
