(2) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hello.

The Share dialog in PowerApps has been updated, and it removed all users from the application, but it is still not possible to share the app with internal users.

I get the following error when trying to share: Sorry, there was a problem loading the data.

Anyone else expericing this issue?

Regards,

Daniel.

The new update regarding "New canvas app sharing experience", bugged our application with more than 50 added users. Any fix to this problem yet?

    Hello,

We can no longer share our app with our organization. We receive the following error, when attempting to share the application:

Sorry, there was a problem loading the data.

    Thanks

    Hi @Anonymous,

I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. The GIF screenshot as below:Test1.gif

Please take a try to clear cache of your browser, and then try it again to check if the issue is solved.

In addition, please also check if your Network is in a good condition.

If the issue still exists, please consider take a try to submit an assisted support ticket through the following link:

    Best regards,

    Kris

I'm having the same problem. We have over 300 users in the share list, however the last "user" on the list is a null value and the PowerApps API is returning this error when trying to retrieve user data in the share window:

["odata.error"].message.value: "A null value was found with the expected type 'Edm.String[Nullable=False]'. The expected type 'Edm.String[Nullable=False]' does not allow null values."

    I Have a fix

    1. Exporting the App and importing it as a new app solves the issue
    2. Adding the members back will allow users to authenticate as before and the datasources all stay the same.
    3. The users  will now have two apps on their PowerApp. deleting the previous app and renaming the new one the same.
    4. essentially replacing the old app with the newly imported one

any other solutions please let me know, Microsoft what have you done!!

Clearing the cache did not work, I have the same issue. Any other suggestions?

I have got multiple PowerApps however there is no effect on sharing for those apps and it works fine.

    I have tried:

Opening in other browsers - No success

Clearing the browser cache - No Success

I have this problem too. Unable to share with users.

Says, "sorry there was a problem loading your data" and then the "Share" button is disabled.

    Is a fix coming soon?

And this is not the case in some other apps, I can share them. At least one of them I am unable to share...

When I make a copy of the same app, I am able to share...

The original app, I am unable to share..

    What could be the issue?

We still are unable to share our PA applications.

Export/Import application does not fix error.

I solved it by logging in through the localized website of powerapps... 🙂

( the en-us environment gave the problem, when I entered through the dutch environment, it was working correctly)
