Error Opening File - App won't open to Edit

Hi,

When I try to open my app for Edit, I keep getting the error messge: Error opening the app

I changed my "Authoring Version" to previous versions (as indicated in previous posts) , but it doesn't work.

I edited 4 days ago, and since yesterday I cannot edit it.

I can still access the app, but not edit it.

The current version I have is: 3.20122.13

I changed it the recommended one: 3.20123.23 , but still get the error.

Any help is WELCOME since I cannot edit at all, and I really cannot afford to lose my app.

You might want to consider Exporting the app and then importing back in to see if that resets it.

Thanks @Randy , I tried but then it says that it couldn't find a flow... and I know it sounds typical, but I haven't touched this in the last 4 days... no idea..

Does your app call a flow? If so, I would suggest having a look at that to see if there are some issues.

Even though there weren't any issues before with the flows before and the app works as expected, it's practically impossible to identify the flow with this message: Could not find flow 'b72b0322-e7fa-4d4b-9670-b4224b42f8af'

I wouldn't do it from the error message. Instead look at the details for the app. In the details is a tab for Flows used. It will show you the flows in use in that app.

Yes Thanks @RandyHayes , that's what I mean. It's impossible to get this id for a flow... all my flows are fine and working.
Any other ideas?

Ah, so you are saying that you look at the Flows in use list and you see that error message?

If that is the case, then that is the problem...there is a flow missing.

Actually, you can get the flow ID's, but the only way I know is through PowerShell.

So, other things, have you tried to restore a prior version? Does that open?

When you go to edit the app, what are you seeing?

Thanks @RandyHayes , yeah I think that might be the case (the missing flow), but how to get it back? because I haven't deleted any flows in the last 4 days...

I have tried opening it with previous versions (see the image below), and it doesn't work. The first 2 images are with different versions as you can see.
This is what shows when I try to edit the app. The other apps are working fine.

The last image is what happens when I try to export the app, the missing flow (it seems).
Do you have any idea on how to solve this even in PowerShell? Which I'm not familiar at all, but can always learn...

Yikes - if the flow was deleted, then it is gone. There is no recycle bin for flows (long demanded feature).

The only hope I would imagine you could have is to try to export the app and then modify the internal references to the flow. But from what I am seeing, you can't even export the flow.

My only suggestion left would be to open a support request with Microsoft and see if they can pull it somehow from behind the scenes to at least get you something to salvage what you have in some way.

Hello @RandyHayes , just wanted to let you know that it works now!! I contacted Microsoft Support, super helpful, they contacted me within 2 hours.
There was a new version uploaded, and it seems it created some problems with our environment (or my app better said). I'm able now to access it (YEAH!!) and just downloaded a hard copy.... you never know.
Still cannot Export it, but that's going to be a different battle.
