First Approval email not sending for file creation

Hi,

I have created a flow, from a document library. It starts approval whenever a new file is added. Once approved by first approver it sends approval to the sedond approver and also updates field in the library.

The approval emails contain link to the document, but first approval email is not going, If we stop and resubmit it will go and rest of the workflow will work smoothly.

Hi @waheed,

Where do the first approver approve the approval request?

The “Start an approval” action would trigger when the approver approve or reject the approval request. You may need to wait almost 2 minutes for seeing the effect.

I have made a test on my side and don’t have the issue that you mentioned. The first approval email works smoothly when first approver approved it.

Hello Kris,

Thanks for the reply, The "Start an Approval" process have to send an email to the first approver, that email is not coming, when i cancel and resend only then email is recieved for approval.

And when first approver approves it based on condition it goes to second approver which is working fine.

If i replace "Start an Approval" with "Send Email for Approval" it is working, but than i have probelm with "Document Link", which is breaking in email since there is a space in the URL.
