Can't sign into Powerapps app

I've been developing powerapps and using the Powerapps app on my Android device for a couple of months without too many issues. All of a sudden I can't seem to login to the Powerapp App itself.

It asks me to enter my 'work or school email account' which I do (never had issues before now), the loading screen pops up for a few seconds then returns to the login page, no errors no nothing.

I have tried clearing all data and reinstalling app but still no luck.

Any idea whats causing this?

Hi Dan_adaptiv,

What’s your phone version? Have you tried again with it now? I am afraid that it may be a temporary issue.

You said that “the loading screen pops up for a few seconds then returns to the login page, no errors no nothing”, could you provide a screenshot of this for better understanding?

If possible, please share your Session ID for a further investigation.

Hi @v-yamao-msft,

Just tried again, still no luck. I hada coworker login on my phone and he had an issue too so it seems it's my device playing up.

I'm on Android 6.0.1

Heres a screenshot, it only pops up for a second.

I too am facing the same issue on the app. I'm on Android N which has the WebView disabled. I'm able to login into powerapps web through chrome.

Seems like the issue is caused by Android System WebView.

When loading the app earlier to see if I was still having login issues I was greeted by the following message after entering my login details.

Previously this message had never appeared. After clicking the link and updating Android System WebView PowerApps now works perfectly fine.

Hopefully this resolves any issues anyone else has regarding this problem.

The Android WebView has been removed since 7.0 and hence this is not the case. Weirdly, I do have another colleague who was successfully able to login with the 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 version whereas I was unable to (same device - Nexus 6P, different locations).

hi,

I've the same problem on an Android Tab 4 10.1
I tried to login on a Samsung Ativ tab 8.1 and on a windows 10 phone and it works fine.

Have tou got any sugestion?

I have the same problem since a week ago. I cannot login to powerapps app. It send me back to login again and again. If I use "call me to XXXXX" to get the password it says it is not possible to connect at the moment ...

Hi there,

The issue I had was that my Android System WebView was not up to date. I simply updated it through the play store and everything was working fine again. This may or may not be the solution to your problem though.

Also note that Android System WebView has been disabled from version 7.0 upwards (I'm running 6.0.1), it is now combined with Chrome.
