Hi,  i just started using Power Automate for personal reason and it worked fine just fine until yesterday when i wanted to create a new flow and the following error apeared:

Failed to create connection for connection id '/providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_outlook/connections/shared-outlook-33bbe4dd-0cdd-4b02-88de-c36e41bdb47c'. The environment data loss prevention policies for environment: '4105d171-4272-e7b1-8a7e-9d7c7fcb9fe1' could not be found.

it only happens when i try to sign into any connector ( i tried outlook and azure just to check and its the same error with different code and path)
I guess its something temporal because its trying to find some kind of policies but i wanted to create this post in the chance its something personal of mine . Thanks in advance

What's the next step here? Anyone an idea?

PS If you would setup an automated cloud flow and use the trigger: When a new email arrives (V3) i directly have to sign in.

Is it there that you hit the same error?

    Dear,

    Try these solution.

the error you're encountering seems to be related to environment data loss prevention policies. Here's a concise solution you can try:

    1. Clear Browser Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Sometimes cached data can cause unexpected issues with connectors and authentication.

    2. Use InPrivate or Incognito Mode: Try accessing Power Automate in a private or incognito browsing window. This can help isolate any potential browser-related issues.

    3. Check Environment Policies: If the issue persists, the error might be due to environment policies. Check with your organization's IT team or administrators to ensure that the environment you're using has the appropriate data loss prevention policies configured.

    4. Retry Later: As you mentioned, it might be a temporary issue on Microsoft's side. If none of the above solutions work, consider waiting for a while and then trying to create the flow again later.

    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If the problem persists and none of the above solutions help, you might need to contact Microsoft Support for assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps based on the current state of their services.

This issue is still happening and seems widespread. Any updates?

Had a flow that used the Outlook.com connector, but broke after I updated my password. Fix connection doesn't work, and creating a new connector doesn't work either. Just get the "Failed to create connection for connection id /providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_outlook/connections/shared-outlook-6f356432-5bdc-48ae-85ec-3754b7647222. The environment data loss prevention policies for environment: 464de187-9ffe-4c77-9795-05ff5a2517a9 could not be found." error

I am also experiencing the same issue when trying to create a rule for my junk folder, following the guide here... https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-apply-outlookcom-rules-junk-folder-power-automate-robin-hobo/

Failed to create connection for connection id '/providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_outlook/connections/shared-outlook-b1784517-46a9-49e2-be0f-fd043d44d1d0'. The environment data loss prevention policies for environment: '<REMOVED>' could not be found.

I'm using my personal outlook.com account to create the rule against and I've tried incognito so doesn't seem to be browser related. Any further ideas?

    Haha same here

Thanks for the offered help. Unfortunately none of the suggested solutions fixes it. The third in particular (Check Environment Policies) i can't as it's all in personal use so i don't have an administrator.

While talking about the issue a side note, what i (and with my so many more) try to create, is a set of rules which we can apply to the junk mail folder in outlook - through power automate. Rules in outlook can be applied easily to inbox (e.g. if word X is in the email body text or subject, delete) and this helps to reduce spam. We want this too on the junkfolder and to get there we follow this rather complex (but helpful!) step-by-step guide: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-apply-outlookcom-rules-junk-folder-power-automate-robin-hobo/

Spam in junk is getting out of control. I simply want to remove all emails with the notion of 'Spins' or 'McAfee' etc.

As experts, by any chance suggestions?
