Linking Excel Cells Bi-directionally between two or more excel files

Posted on by 4
Hello,

I am trying to link data in two excel files, the data should always be the same but able to be changed in either excel file.
The purpose is to have two connected documents that will be updated if the data in certain cells changes, this has to work if the data is changed in the master document and the secondary document.
Is there a way to automate this with power automate in a way that can be applied to a large number of cells?

@david_MA thank you for the response but that doesn't help because i need it to be bi-directional which is something excel doesn't support by itself.

What you're asking to do isn't really a Power Automate feature. You would do this in Excel: How to Sync Data Across Microsoft Excel Documents. If you have trouble with it, you should post it in the Excel community forums instead: Excel | Microsoft Community Hub
