Hi Everyone,

I am struggling to find how to replace or remove a data source already added to canvas app in new PowerApps studio UI. Anyone know how to?

This is a known issue at this point.  Once you add a connection to a Power App the only way to really remove the connection is to delete it from the Connections list in the main Power Apps console.  Since the connection may be used by multiple Power Apps that normally isn't practical.

If you click on the data icon in the left sidebar you'll see a list of Connections in your app.  You can use the '...' menu on each connection to remove them from the app.

But that won't fully remove them.  If you try to export/import the app to a different environment it will complain that the connection is missing because it maintains a reference to it.  The only way to really delete it is to delete the connection itself.  That will invalidate the reference in the app.

Are you getting the new menu bar by default or did you enable it in Settings?  If you don't have the icon you can also try the '...' menu on the menu bar.

It happens to have this problem, so you will add your data to your application when you only have to manipulate them, for example add a gallery to your application then go to the data source menu of the gallery and you can add a source directly to it will be linked to your project

Used to be able to go to View >> Data Sources to find all data sources related to the app.

I noticed your Add Data entry on the menu bar doesn't have a dropdown.  That would suggest there aren't any active data sources in this app.  That would also explain why you don't see the data source icon on the sidebar.  If you had connections at one time and deleted them then you won't be able to remove them.  That's a known issue with apps.  Are there active connections being used in the app at this point?

If you click on the Add Data dropdown or the Data icon in the side bar you can still see the data sources currently being used by the app. But they only show if there is at least on connection.  If there are no connections you get an Add Data button on the menubar.  You can add a new data source there.  After that you'll see the data icon on the sidebar and the button will turn into a dropdown on the menu bar.

I don't have add data drop down or icon. Most of my data sources are SharePoint lists. This is not a new app. We have been using this app for while I was able to see all data sources from previous studio UI.
