Let's say I have two separate machines I use to run my desktop flow in: machine_1 and machine_2.
I know I can manually edit the flow and change my connection where I want my desktop flow to run unattended in, but I was wondering if this is possible using a cloud flow which would do this automatically for me?
I found some "Power Automate Management" actions which seem they could be of use, but so far I haven't found if I can actually change a flows connection (i.e. don't run on machine_1, run on machine_2). Also, I'd like to add that creating two separate flows is not an option since I would like to do this for multiple desktop flows and it would just be double work.
Has anyone ever tried something of the sorts?
Could you try to create switch flow in power automate using switch actions based on value of %Machine% and then select machine accordingly to machine name ?
In my case I don't want Power Automate to automatically distribute the workload, but rather I want my flow to redirect the desktop flow on a machine depending on the input. For example if I get an input which has the values: {%Process_Name%, %Machine%}, I want my flow to get these values and start the process depending on the input. Basically a dispatcher. Is this possible?
use machine groups in your case. It would help, it helps to group machines and power automate automattically distribute the workload to machines.

Hope it helps !
