Component updates output after second click

Hi everyone

I'm taking another look at components. I have a navigation component which is working fine. But the output I have, that grabs the name of the screen title needs me to click twice on the icon before it updates page name page. I had this problem last time and I ended up just naming the pages manually, but this time I would like to use the output text to trigger a Switch.

The Output in the component is a text type,LblTitle.Text. LblTitle is a label in a gallery in the component.

    I see what the problem is now, when I click on my navigation Component, it's updating that instance of the component and then navigating me to another instance of that component where it is not yet updated.
