Hello everybody,

I have a word document where I want to fill it with data then convert it to pdf format. I put it on onedrive the problem is that the two connectors that I found on power automat and premium after some use I have to pay to benefit from this service. (The two connectors I have already used are: Encodian and plumsail).

My question is: is there another way to fulfill this need without using these two connectors?

    Hi there,

You can get around it by using the Quick Parts in Microsoft Word. Laura details it out here:

To PDF it, you can use the OneDrive convert action.

Sorry? The connectors - Get File Content, Create File, Update File Properties - all exist. You will want to use SharePoint, as that's where you'd create columns that will populate the Word document.

And the "Manual Trigger" is there and can be used, but you could automatically pull in data from SharePoint.

Everything she outlines from #1A-E is out of the box SharePoint / Microsoft Word.

    Hi @gikido,

It can be with free actions in power automate:

    1. Create your content using html in any variable action.

    2. compose your variable

    3.  use create file (onedrive) action, provide filename as .html and content as outputs from compose action.

    4. convert file to pdf (onedrive), provide id from above action.

Try this, please mark this as the solution.

    Regards,

    Hitesh
