D365 CRM Model Driven App's Audit History Error when embedding a Canvas App

Hello,

I am experiencing a very similar issue to what is described here:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/73411898/d365-crm-model-driven-apps-audit-history-error-when-embedding-a-canvas-app

As soon as I include a Canvas App to a form in MS Dynamics, the Audit History stops working. I would like to avoid to apply the workaround described in the link above.

Anyone ever experienced this type of error?

thanks.

Hi, I am getting the same error but not for canvas app. Added a new modern command and an iframe on one section to display power BI URL. After making these two changes and deploying to target environment, audit history page stopped loading suddenly. Unable to crack the issue. Deleted both iframe and command and redeployed. Still issue persists. Tried checking network logs but no luck. Directly getting error message no other details found. Any help on this please?

    We fixed it. Root cause:

The legacy form designer required adding the CanvasControl by binding it to a field, so
this issue did not happen when the CanvasControl was added through the legacy form designer.
The modern form designer added a way to insert the CanvasControl as an unbound control onto
    forms, which causes this issue.

Seems like it is a bug, which you can avoid by adding a canvas app control with the legacy client instead of the modern client.
