Custom PCF Component reset after a patch

All my custom PCF components reset when I do a patch.
This does not happen with the default component.

Is there a way to prevent this?

My current workaround is to pre-store all my PCF components data, patch then reload the data back in via updatecontext. This is clearly not ideal.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
Could you please provide a little more information.. Are these field PCFs bound to fields which are modified by a PATCH request on a CanvasApp/CustomPage?

Hi Diana, the PCF has bounded fields in Canvas App. They are read by the Patch as input to update an SQL table. They are not modified by the Patch function.
The PCF is a google autocomplete text field. After a patch, the address/text on the pcf is cleared.

    Hi @AChng,

It's really hard to debug from afar. Usually the values are not cleared.
Do you have all the fields of type bound? If you trigger notifyOutputChange and provide there empty values, that would trigger an updateView for your component, with the values you've provided in getOutputs,
But it depends also on how the address field is built. Maybe it helps to debug the values in getOutputs and updateView... just log the values provided there. Maybe it leads you further.
