Trying to schedule a desktop flow via cloud, but keep getting an error. "Invalid Connection."

"Could not connect to desktop flows running on your machine. Please make sure that desktop flows is installed and running."

I have downloaded the On-Premises Data Gateway and created a gateway on there. I upgraded by Windows 10 to Pro. I go into the Command Prompt and copy that string "desktop-[characters]\anton", then I submit the password that I use to log into my account on the computer. (I've tried both the Power Automate password, and the computer password itself, just to see if that's the problem.)

It just refuses to connect properly. When I click the three dots on the "Trigger A Desktop Flow" step to see "My Connections", it just says "Invalid Connection" next the one I've created.

Yet in the On-Premises Data Gateway dashboard, it says it's online and ready to use.

I also disabled MFA on the Microsoft account to see if that was the issue. No luck there.

I can't, for the life of me, figure this out. Has anyone encountered this issue who knows what the problem is?

Reinstall desktop flow as in, Power Automate Desktop?

Is there any risk at all of me losing my current flows if I do that?

Because I have many flows in there that have literally taken me WEEKS of work to create that are extremely valuable to a business.

Could I back them up in some way as an extra added layer of security and redundancy before reinstalling PAD?

    Thanks

    Hi @AntonD :

I suggest you reinstall desktop flow and check if the problem is solved.

UIFlowService does NOT show up there in Services. All I see is: UIFlowLogShipper. Any ideas on how I could fix that?

    Hi @AntonD :

I've made a test but did not encountered the problem you mentioned.

Please make sure that the desktop Flow service is started on the machine.

Or you could also consider restarting Desktop flows service.

In addition,I think this link will help you a lot:
    Is Gateway/Machine online ?
