Hi, I regularly have to forward an article via email to a Teams channel and then get our team members to vote on it.
Scenario:
I forward the article to a Teams channel and when it appears in that teams channel,
I will create a poll under it by typing @Forms Is this acceptable? Yes, No, Maybe.
Is there a way to automate all this? To automatically create the poll with this standard question and options when a new message is posted in a teams channel.
(Would be even better if I can define the poll created when message is posted from a particular email address.)
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Hi @G3N ,
You can use When a new channel message is added as a trigger.
Unfortunately, MS Flow does not support Create a poll in a Teams channel currently.
Best Regards,
Hi @v-bacao-msft ,
On the web page you advised (microsoft-forms-works-great-with-microsoft-teams), it talks about Conduct a quick poll within your team. Is there a way to automate that when a new message is posted in Teams, that quick poll (like this one in the picture below) is posted right after it?
Hi @G3N ,
Unfortunately, MS Flow does not support Create a poll in a Teams channel currently.
The available action is Post a choice of options as the Flow bot to a user, but it can only be sent to individual users.
For the application of MS Forms in Teams, please refer to this blog:
