Move e-mail from folder to folder

Hi there,

I'm trying to do a simple task, but it seems to not be as simple as I thought.

We have an automation from an external service, that moves e-mail automatically to different folders in Outlook. But that last step that we need, can't be done bu that external service. So I thought to use rules, but that doesn't work because you can't select a folder to read from rules. It will look at all e-mail, not only e-mail from a certain folder. I hope I am clear.

So then I thought to use Power Automate. But whatever I try, it just won't work. It seems POwer Automate only checks NEW e-mail coming in, and not a unread e-mail that is moved by the external service if that makes sense.

What I want:

- Every e-mail from folder A, whether it's new or not, send to emailaddress A, move to folder B.

- Every e-mail from folder A, whether it's new or not, sent to emailaddress B, move to folder C.

etc.

Can this be done?

    Hi!

Can you use a scheduled flow or must the email be sent and moved instantly?

Based on your description, can you create a flow that uses these steps?

    1. Create a Scheduled cloud flow that runs each hour/day/etc...
    2. Use the Get emails Action to get all emails in Folder A
    3. In a For each loop (should be automatically created)
      • Use Forward an email to send the messages email address 1
      • Use Move email to move message to Folder B
