Remove previous sign-on / logon details from PowerApps installed on iOS device

Hi All.

Hope you can offer some advice.

How do I remove the previous connection sign-in details to powerapps, so that it asks for a password each time I launch the PowerAPP on the mobile device. (iOS)

I am using a single tablet device that is used by multiple domain users (split by shift patterns etc), however login details / passwords are remembered and therefore this is causing a security issue.

Thanks in advance.

Good morning together, I have the same issues. Are there any updates on how to delete/remove a user account from power apps? Thanks!

Authenticator looks to be integrated with PowerApps.  It's not listed as a separate app to uninstall.  I have the same issue on Android tablet trying to use PowerApps in kiosk style.

I've heard that PowerApps is not available to multiple users in Kiosk mode. It doesn't dump the cache or user login information.

Shared mode is possible but staff will need to log out twice. Once to log into Microsoft Shared Homescreen and again Powerapps. Single sign on is not available for PowerApps apparently in this mode.

    Hi @wim-stevens-fit ,

    1. Uninstall the Microsoft Authenticator app
    2. Uninstall Power Apps mobile.
    3. Reinstall the Microsoft Authenticator app and add your back up account.
    4. Reinstall Power Apps mobile.
    5. Open Power Apps mobile and then sign in.

If this does not work - please send and email directly to  pamobsup@microsoft.com

We experience the same behaviour on iPhone.

The end-users is under the impression that he has logged-out.

But he - or somebody else with access to the iPhone - has the possibility to log-on agains without being asked for credentials.

In our opinion this is a serious security issue.

    Microsoft, please comment.

    Thanks

I'm having the same problem while using the Power Apps app on Android in a Kiosk multiuser environment.

    Hi Alaa

    Thank you for the guidance.

We are using the APP not a web browser to connect to PowerAPPS.

On signin to the POWERAPPS via the phone app, (prior to any domain authentication), Microsoft asks you to pick an account.  If you have logged in before to any POWERAPP, on any domain, your account details are retained.

How do we ensure POWERAPPS is asking for a password (and not just remembering it), or allows me to clear recent accounts.

It is storing passwords and I need to find a way to stop this from happening.

All settings on the device have been checked and are set to clear any passwords, and this has also been replicated on different devices and operating systems (iOS & Android devices).

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    Best Regards

    Mark

Re: Remove previous sign-on / logon details from PowerApps installed on iOS device

    Hello,

From my point of view this is not related strictly to power app but it is a browser related functionality. As the browser retains the logged in authentication log in. This being said you can configure the lifetime of the refresh token meaning the time life that the token remains valid even when the user is not actively using it. This table shows you the different lifetime that can be applied

    https://blog.enablingtechcorp.com/revoke-all-user-sessions-for-azure-ad-and-office-365

But remember this will be applied not only for Power app but for any environment that requires the O365 authentication token ie SharePoint, onedrive, etc...

    Best regards,

    Alaa
