Can you elaborate more what do you mean by update row permission?

Do you mean here changing the Owner of the record?

Permissions in dataverse are controlled by security roles which depends on who is the owner of the current record.

    Thanks @Mira_Ghaly  for your response.

My need is, when a row is created, I need to give give access only to the roles/groups are part of columns data of that row.

For example, I have a column Area and Division, both will holds the role/group names, based on those data particular row should have access only to those are part of (Area and Division) these 2 column data. Other than these to roles non should have access.

Also is there a way to update the roles via code on change of those values.

    Thanks

To make this work you ned to have different teams corresponding to Area and Division.

For each area and Division you need to have a responsible team with a security role for this table where you are adding the row to have only user access.

After creating the Row using Power Automate you need to get which Team is applicable for Area and Division and update the Owner of the Row to this team.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks again for your inputs, just wanted to understand correctly, since I'm new to Dataverse being an SharePoint developer,  can I update the role using power automate? the word refers "Team" is it MS Teams or just the role name?

    Thanks,

    Kumar
