Associating power apps buttons with Flows

So I have been trying to associate a flow with a button on power apps;  employees email out their weekly entries to their respective manager. The thing is that their are several managers that will view and approve on  an individuals weekly timesheet. The managers would be put into groups with a group email associated with them, because as it goes a time sheet gets sent to a site manager, construction manager, contract manager and then accounts (basically in this format: G1; Site managers, G2;Construction managers, G3; Contract managers, G4; Accounts), Also there are several managers for each groups in case a the manager in charge of a particular employee in unavailable to view the time sheet another in that group could view it and approve. When approved by managers it should be updated into the SharePoint list.

So I created an automated flow that when an item is created that the G1 manager must approve before it is sent out to the G2 manager, but it just sends each entries individually instead of in bulks.  If there is a way to enhance that flow that it collects their weekly entries in bulks and is also associated with the power apps button, that would be really helpful.

is it possible to create and if so what is the process.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Regarding your question on how to add a Flow to a PowerApp you have a simple guide that explains this in detail on our documentation.

This even shows how you can add a Flow as a OnSelect action in a button here.

For the the second issue you state that it is sending each entry "individually". What is the goal in this situation? What are the item updates that you are listening to in order to begin the approval processes?

You have a connector on Flow that can assist you in the creation of approvals as seen bellow:

You can consult our documentation on automatizing approval processes here.

Hope this reply was useful to you!

    Ricardo
