Update field automatically with variable, but also have dropdown choices

Hi,

I have a field I auto update using a variable. Lets call this variable "statusupdate". I can set the Default of a single line text field to variable statusupdate just fine.

But now I have a choice field.

I want to default the choice field to "statusupdate" but also have choices in the dropdown.

How can I do this?

Hi @wonka1234,

Are you using SharePoint as a datasource and is the variable value a valid option in your choice field?

You could try the following in the DefaultSelectedItems property:

{Value: statusupdate}
