Launching UWP App

Hello and greetings from Portugal!

 

New here using Power Automate Desktop and trying to automate my daily flow to start working.

I'm trying to open an uwp app (Microsoft To-Do) but can't figure out how!

 

Can anyone please help?

    For the run application action you can use following parameters:

    path: explorer.exe

    arguments: shell:appsFolder\Microsoft.WindowsCalculator_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App

     

    Replace the bold text with the name of your app, see task manager -> app name -> properties -> folder name without version

    Just a question. 

    Using that command, it would get broken when updating Windows version or something like that?

    Only if the update includes significant changes to UWP system. But that's normal. You could also start the app through a link, shortcut, Windows start menu, but all of that can break with an update 😉
