Building multi-user applications

I haven't been able to find any discussion of the issues related to building multi-user applications in Powerapps.

Are there best practices in this arena when to consider?  Does anyone know of any articles about this topic that might be helpful?

The multiuser capabilities of the app are basically dependent on the back end data source being used.  For example, an Excel file in a shared folder in OneDrive will support a limited number of concurrent users.  But once you have too many the concurrent authoring capabilities of Excel online slow down quite a bit.  SharePoint will work better in most instances, unless you are trying to do something like edit a document. Then you can run into the same problems as OneDrive.  But SharePoint lists work well with a large number of users.  Of course a fully developed database like SQL or CDS will provide the best support.

Are you talking about an application that will be used by many users or are you asking for recommendations to create an app that will be used by different personas or user profiles? I have built a couple of the latter category and definitely have some suggestions for anyone looking to create something similar.
