Form to add members to team and assign tag

I am BRAND NEW with Power Automate and trying to find the best way to create flow that when a form is submitted it will add the submitter to a team and assign them certain preexisting tags based on their answers in the form. The only way I can think this to work right now is to first have their names go to a sharepoint list and then assign tags based on those properties or to create approximately 21 yes/no conditions in the flow to determine the proper tag. The "tag id" field in the action is not dynamic, as I thought I could just map that to a response detail from the form. Any suggestions to make this easier? Am I missing something?

    @zking,

    Is this for internal use in your tenant or will you use the form to add external members to the team.

    Hopefully once I know this I will be able to help further.

    Regards,

    Thank you. This will be only for internal users.

    @zking

    Thanks, so yes I would recommend you sue a SharePoint List to write all the data to in the first place.

    As new member you need to keep spaces to a minimum in the SharePoint List, this will help.

    I cannot assist with the tags as I would need a lot more information on these to advise.

    To add the members to the team might require a premium plan, do you have this. As if not I think you will not be able to do what you want to do.

    Regards,

    Andrew

    I do not believe I have premium, I am working with 365 government. I have the connector to add the form submitter to a team. I just can't figure out how to dynamically assign their tag in teams based on answers to the form. Hopefully the below screenshots make sense.

    I have managed to figure it out. I ended up using switches to obtain the desired outcome. After entering all 21 switch conditions, I found that the Tag ID can be dynamic if you first select enter custom value.

    Hi

    I'm trying to do this without needing a lot of switches - can you expand what you mean on 'enter custom value'?

    Thanks 🙂

    Under the action/connector for Adding a member to a tag, select 'Tag ID' and click the drop down arrow. There should be an option there for entering a custom value. Once you select that, the field becomes dynamic and you can map that directly to a response from a form (what I needed in my case). I did not try this as I had already created the switches by the time I discovered this.
