Datapolicies don't apply to model driven apps

Hi,

I read in the documentation (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/wp-data-loss-prevention) that DLP policies apply only to canvas apps and powerautomate flows. Any idea why these don't apply to model driven apps?

    The DLP policy is for connectors and connectors are used by Canvas apps and flow. Model driven apps are built on Dataverse and don't use connectors.
