How might one apply a STDEV (Standard Deviation) function against a column returned by a List Records action?

Hi Power Automaters,

I have a flow that returns a dataset.  I can count and sum all records in this dataset, but after reviewing all "Expressions" I didn't see any advanced mathematical function set.  Looking specifically for SQRT or STDEV function capability.  (If one doesn't exist, then an example of how I can pass a list into Excel, and get Excel to do a calculation would be equally awesome... 😉

Thanks,

Dave

Hey there.  So, maybe a couple of options.  My first thought was to call a PowerShell script from Flow.  Here's a thread on how to do that, and then here's a post with a PowerShell script for Standard Deviation.

I'm guessing you may not even need to do that if you are already doing Azure functions.  There's probably some whiz-bang way to just do it there.

    Either way, those should work.

Thanks Ed.   I'll try those ideas out after vaca...   I must say I'm really surprised by the lack of mathematical operators on a collection... Power Automate 2.0?

    Thanks again

    Dave
