How to Merge Two Branches into a Single Update Action Without Being Skipped?

Hello Power Automate Community,

I'm working on a flow where I have two branches that should both lead to a single action to update a document. Initially, as shown in the first image I attached, each branch pointed to its own update action.

However, I want to streamline this process so that both branches converge into one update action.

When I attempt to do this, the single update action is being skipped despite setting the 'Run After' configuration to proceed on both success and skipped outcomes.

Could someone please advise on how to properly set up my flow so that it will not skip the update action when the branches converge?
Tahnk you so much

Can you set "Configure run after" and mark all 4 option for the update action?

Please show the run after condition you set for the child flow.

As you can see your action only runs if „set flow status failed“ is succeeded. Change it also to all 4 possibilities.
