The Jira MCP connection is working correctly and can successfully locate issues (e.g., XYZ-480). However, after the tool returns results, Copilot receives a ContextTokenLimitExceeded error from Anthropic. This appears to occur because the MCP response includes a very large payload (full Jira issue data) rather than a condensed result set. Since the issue is found successfully before the error occurs, this looks like a Copilot Studio/MCP response handling issue rather than a Jira connectivity or authentication problem.
