get event from outlook by subject

I would like to find a specific event in my calnedar that ends with a specific GUID which is picked up earlier in the flow.

I have tried various variations of:

subject endswith [GUID]

endswith([GUID], subject)

but I do not seem to have any luck. How is the syntax for the filter query of Get events (V2)?

    Hi @AxelBA,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Do you want to use OData query to find the specific event whose subject ends with a specific GUID within the Filter Query field of the "Get events (V2)" action?

The endswith Odata Query function is not supported in the Outlook connector of Microsoft Flow currently, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs using OData Query within the "Get events (V2)" action. More details about the OData query supported in Outlook connector, please check the following article:

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/office/office365/api/complex-types-for-mail-contacts-calendar#use-odata-query-parameters

If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

In addition, you could consider take a try to add a "Filter array" action to achieve your needs as an alternative solution. Please take a try with the following workaround:10.JPG

The flow works successfully as below:11.JPG

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Hi Kris,

That is almost exactly what I want.

My subject string is constructed of a short description of the task with the shift ID appended. Is it possible to make the filter match the end of the string?

Does that apply for the the Filter array aswell?

    edit filter.PNGfilter error.PNG

or is this error just caused by entries without subjects?
