Check for duplicate ID then send an e-mail.

I would like to build a flow that checks for duplicate ID’s each day. If any duplicate ID’s are located I would then like to send an e-mail with the ID and the entry name. How could I achieve this with a recurring flow? Thanks!

@creativeopinion Hi - ideally I would like to run a recurring flow everyday to check for duplicate ID/reference numbers in a SharePoint list. I would then like to send an e-mail that contains the ID/reference numbers. No deletion required via the flow. Thanks!

@Jon2787 No worries. Can you provide more details? There isn't much to go on in your original post. What is the flow checking? A SP List? An Excel Table? Something else? How do you determine which item to delete?

The more details and insights you can provide—the easier it is to provide recommendations.

Thanks that’s not what I’m looking for unfortunately. I need to scan for duplicates to check information before deletion.

@Jon2787 Are you checking for duplicate ID's in a SharePoint list? If so, have you considered toggling on Enforce unique values for your column? This way duplicate ID's wont be entered at all.
