Microsoft planner -> Send email. Error: The 'inputs.parameters' of workflow operation 'Send_an_email_(V2)' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid.

Hi,

I'm trying to make an flow with microsoft planner.
I want an email notification sent to the person assigned to the task when the task is marked as completed.

Here is the flow:

Error Details:
The 'inputs.parameters' of workflow operation 'Send_an_email_(V2)' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid. Error details: Input parameter 'emailMessage/To' is required to be of type 'String/email'. The runtime value '"d173892d-2883-4629-9793-fdf2a9ca996b"' to be converted doesn't have the expected format 'string/email'.

I'm new to flows. But this is a basic flow and I don't know how to fix it.

Any help would help!

Hello @dj1996 ,

you should follow these steps:

1. "Get user profile (V2)", by adding the "assignments Assigned To User Id" value grabbed from the trigger;

2. "Send an email (V2), by adding the "Mail" value grabbed from the previous action.
