We receive hundreds of emails with and account number in the Subject line.

Is there a way to amend the subject line by adding the account holder name?

Are you asking how to do this when they arrive in your Exhange Server? If not, I don't think this would be possible with Power Automate. My company tags all external e-mails with [External] in the subject line. Here a couple of resources to refer to, but this is done with a rule in Exchange:
    1. Email Subject to contain {EXTERNAL} from outside domain senders - Microsoft Community
    2. Add tag to external emails in Microsoft 365 for extra security - ALI TAJRAN

Maybe someone else will have a better reference. I don't know how it would be able to figure out who the account holder is unless the account holder is the same as the e-mail address of the sender of the e-mail.

If you're asking how to do this from the trigger when a new e-mail is received, and you want to add it to the subject of an e-mail you send after it has been received, you'll need to explain more on where this information is located in the incoming e-mails so it can be extracted.

Yes that's possible using a GRAPH request that will modify the subject line.
But don't you think that sorting emails to subfolders is much better solution?

, How do you envision doing this with a Graph API call? According to the documentation, you can only update the subject if the message is in draft: Update message - Microsoft Graph v1.0 | Microsoft Learn

Probably cannot be done unless you consider forwarding to a mailbox and amending the subject.

This depends on how you mean it. If you are doing this to an incoming email, and one where you store the information in SharePoint, then yes, certainly as its just a string you are saving, but you aren't really changing the "Subject" dynamic property, you are making a new string

So the Subject in this instance is not changing.

If you want to Reply to that email using power automate then absolutely you can, as stated above you can simply take what's in the incoming subject and create a new string to then use to Reply with.

so it really depends on how you want to use the Subject value as it comes in or as it goes out but yes.

If this helps resolve your issue please mark as such and maybe a like :-)

    Cheers
